ViroReal® Kit CAEV is a real-time PCR kit for the detection of caprine arthritis – encephalitis virus (CAEV) using onestep reverse transcription real-time PCR. This test was developed for the Applied Biosystems® 7500 (Fast) instrument (Thermo Fisher Scientific), but is also suitable for other real-time PCR instruments. This test allows the rapid and sensitive detection of CAEV RNA purified from blood (mononuclear cells, PBMC) (e.g. with the QIAamp Viral RNA Mini Kit, Qiagen).
