ViroReal® Kit CSF Virus is a real-time PCR kit for the detection of classical swine fewer virus (CSF virus) RNA using one-step reverse transcription real-time PCR. This test was developed for the ABI PRISM® 7500 (Fast) instrument (Thermo Fisher Scientific), LightCycler® 480 (Roche) and for Mx3005P® (Agilent), but is also suitable for other real-time PCR instruments. This test allows the rapid and sensitive detection of CSF virus RNA purified from tissue samples (e.g. tonsils, kidney, spleen), nasal swabs, tonsil scrapings or blood (e.g. with the QIAamp Viral RNA Mini Kit, Qiagen).
