BactoReal® Kit Brucella spp. is a real-time PCR assay for detection of Brucella DNA. This test was developed and validated for the ABI PRISM® 7500 (Fast) instrument (Life Technologies), LightCycler® 480 (Roche) and Mx3005P® (Agilent), but is also suitable for other real-time PCR instruments. This test allows the rapid and sensitive detection of DNA of Brucella spp. from samples purified from blood, milk, lymph tissue, bone marrow and biopsies (e.g. with the QIAamp DNA Mini Kit).
