BactoReal® Kit Chlamydiaceae is a real-time PCR assay for detection of DNA of Chlamydia and Chlamydophila species. This test was developed and validated for the ABI PRISM® 7500 (Fast) instrument (Life Technologies), LightCycler® 480 (Roche) and Mx3005P® (Agilent), but is also suitable for other real-time PCR instruments. This test allows the rapid and sensitive detection of DNA of Chlamydia and Chlamydophila species from DNA samples purified from different sample material (e.g. with the QIAamp DNA Mini Kit).
